North Fort Worth and Keller are where DFW starts to open up. Alliance Town Center is the big shopping and dining stop, with stores like Belk, Best Buy and Dick's in one place and an H-E-B for groceries, and Keller Town Center gives you a smaller-town feel with parks and places to eat. The Bear Creek greenbelt in Keller is great for a walk when you want some green.
I-35W and US-377 are the main routes to downtown Fort Worth and DFW Airport. You'll run into rush hour traffic, but Alliance is right here, and it's one of the biggest job hubs in the area if you work up that way.
You'll find newer apartment communities around Alliance and along the I-35W corridor, with more tucked toward Keller. If you want big stores close by and a little more room to spread out, North Fort Worth and Keller are a good fit.
